Her clients range from international law firms, educational providers and media corporations to high net worth individuals, international business people and international families.

Whilst Malini has considerable experience in business immigration, managing cases involving sponsor licences, Tier 2 applications and right to work matters, she also regularly advises on personal immigration assisting private clients with their initial entry clearance or leave to remain application through to their applications for British citizenship. Her practice also has a particular emphasis on applications based on partnership, family and private life, human rights, European law and leave outside the Immigration Rules. 

Before joining Doyle Clayton in 2020, Malini was a senior solicitor at a City boutique immigration firm heading its "outstanding" Human Rights and Appeals practice and also managing the firm’s pro bono cases. 

Externally, Malini is a highly experienced trainer and is regularly invited to speak internationally on immigration topics. She also regularly contributes to publications including LexisNexis and provides legal commentary in the general media including The Guardian and LBC Radio.
