Jack is a Trainee Solicitor in the Reading team assisting with a wide range of employment law matters.

Jack acquired a law degree at Oxford Brookes University in 2018 and gained a distinction in the Legal Practice Course in the Summer of 2021. Working in the area of employment law has long been a career aspiration and as part of his Masters qualification Jack undertook a professional practice research report into a topical area of employment law, namely the legal rights and remedies available to workers and employees, as opposed to self-employed contractors.

He has a particular interest in litigation, including unfair dismissal claims and worker status issues. Having studied employment law throughout his legal studies he is well equipped to support our lawyers and clients.

Jack took part in legal competitions while at Secondary School which gave him the opportunity to experience what working in law might entail from a young age. Taking part in these competitions inspired Jack’s choice of a legal career and his goal is to become a solicitor.  Jack is excited to be part of the growing employment team at Doyle Clayton and is looking forward to developing his expertise further in this area of the law.
