You’re also likely to know that we’re one of the very few sizeable law firms working for both organisations and senior individuals, how rare this is, and the unique insight it gives into the broad people and connected issues that businesses regularly encounter, and also that it enables us to advise individuals more effectively and strategically than other firms.

You may also not know that many of us have worked in-house dealing first-hand with the strategic as well as day-to-day issues that HR teams and other senior business management face. And that this experience exists across a wide range of sectors including financial services, tech, education, recruitment, hospitality and leisure, publishing, retail and also business services.
For us this diversity is an important part of our business. Not only does it enable us to provide the best possible commercial advice but it also gives us real empathy with our clients which helps to build long term relationships where we become trusted partners. The proof – well it’s not uncommon for clients to be with us for over a decade and there are a number such as Dixons and Travelex that have continued to use us since we started back in 1997.
But are we good lawyers? Well, The Legal 500 and Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession which review the UK’s legal industry say that we are ‘great with clients’, 'superb and incredibly professional’, ‘provide consistently excellent, pragmatic advice’, ‘are reassuringly good’, ‘tenacious, brave and calm’, ‘seasoned and extremely professional with gravitas and acumen to work at board level’ ………... They also say that the firm is ‘simply outstanding’ and ‘the destination for clients looking for stellar service but without the price of larger City firms’.
