“Right to Rent” Scheme is Now Live
The controversial right to rent scheme has been rolled out across the UK on 1 February 2016. All landlords are now required to check the immigration status of their tenants. There are fines of up to £3000 per tenant potentially levied against non compliant landlords. Further information is available here.
