A Bill has been introduced into Parliament which will give employed parents who lose a child the right to paid time off to grieve.

The Bill has not yet been published and the precise details of the new right remain unclear.

The Department for Business, Energy  & Industrial Strategy has said that over the summer it will be working with employers, employee representatives and campaigners on behalf of working families to understand the needs of both bereaved parents and employers.
