New Whistleblowing Guidance Published

BIS has published two new sets of Whistleblowing guidance, one aimed at employers and one aimed at prescribed persons.

The employer guidance Whistleblowing: Guidance for Employers and Code of Practice is intended to help employers understand whistleblowing laws, how to put whistleblowing policies in place and bring them to the attention of staff. The Code of Practice gives examples of how whistleblowing policies should be managed. 

The Whistleblowing: Prescribed Persons Guidance sets out information on the role of a prescribed person and how they should handle disclosures.
