David Davies has suggested that there may not be significant changes to employment law as a result of Brexit.  He said that:

“ The great British industrial working classes voted overwhelmingly for Brexit. I am not at all attracted by the idea of rewarding them by cutting their rights.”

His comments were made on 11 July shortly before his appointment as the new minister for Brexit.

Theresa May also spoke about the need for job security and about equal pay in her speech on appointment as Prime Minister.
