Stimpson Victory Could be “Pyrrhic”

While Perry Stimpson succeeded in winning his case for unfair dismissal against Citi he has “not necessarily cleared his name”, according to one employment law expert.

 partner at employment law firm 
Doyle Clayton Solicitors, says it’s important to highlight two points because “this may turn out to be a pyrrhic victory for Mr Stimpson”.

First, Begbie-Clench notes, “The Judge concluded that Mr. Stimpson’s actions had also contributed to his eventual dismissal so any compensation awarded to him might be significantly reduced to reflect his wrongdoing. To read more .....
