Fachiema is a specialist education legal adviser, providing comprehensive legal advice on a daily basis, and ensuring clients understand the SEND (special educational needs and disability) tribunal process and guiding them through how to appeal an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plans).

She is a passionate advocate and represents parents and guardians in the SEND Tribunal, making written representations on their behalf. Additionally, she assists in issuing legal proceedings in the Administrative Court and the SEND Tribunal.

Her previous experience includes running a large case load and she has developed a specialist knowledge of Education Law whilst also showing a strong commitment and interest in the values of Public Law.

She regularly works with public bodies, schools and Local Authorities in order to reach agreement in the best interests of the child/young person, and has assisted in obtaining specialist placements for families with values over £100,000.

Fachiema began her legal career after graduating in Law from the University of Kent in 2015, and is currently studying for her LPC (Legal Practice Course) at the University of Law.
