Anna is a Business Immigration Solicitor based in Doyle Clayton’s Reading Office. She is a highly experienced immigration law practitioner having worked in private practice and in-house at a UKVI Tier 4 Sponsor. Anna works exclusively in Business Immigration.
Since qualifying in 2005, Anna has specialised in immigration law with experience in employment law to complement her immigration expertise.
She has substantial experience of advising employers, education institutions and private and publicly funded individual clients on their legal position in the fields of immigration, human rights and Tier 2 and Tier 4 sponsor licensing.
Anna regularly provides bespoke training for clients on subjects including sponsorship and the Home Office’s Illegal Working regime.
Prior to joining Doyle Clayton, she worked in an advice and compliance role for a Tier 4 Sponsor in Scotland. As well as advising migrants applying for points based visas and acting as a Level 1 User, Anna advised her employer institution how to protect its sponsor licence and minimise compliance risks.
Having personally participated in and successfully passed UK Home Office audits, Anna now draws on this experience to conduct mock audits for clients, ensuring registered and prospective sponsors can comply with their sponsor duties and sponsor non EEA workers and students.
Anna also has expertise in assisting private clients with Tier 1 applications as well as visa applications outside the Points Based systems, including EEA, human rights, settlement and citizenship applications.
