Lydia is a Paralegal in the Reading team, assisting with a wide range of employment law matters.

After completing her undergraduate degree in History and Masters in Law, Lydia completed a week of work experience at Doyle Clayton in September 2022 whilst studying and felt that employment law was definitely the area of law that she wanted to work and qualify into and joined Doyle Clayton as a Paralegal in November 2022.

Lydia feels particularly passionate about discrimination law and the Equality Act and regularly assists in advising corporate clients on this. She has assisted in a large amount of litigation cases, which is her main interest, she assists in both Claimant (individual) and Respondent (corporate) ET cases. She has good experience with breach of contract cases, disability discrimination and sex discrimination claims, and has some experience of wrongful and unfair dismissal claims. Lydia has assisted on client training including training on discrimination law and respect at work, redundancies, sickness absences and performance management.
