Siobhan Fitzgerald

Siobhan has extensive experience acting for large corporate clients, public bodies and organisations in the charitable and housing sectors. An experienced Employment Tribunal litigator, Siobhan regularly guides clients through complex cases involving discrimination, whistleblowing and trade union issues.

Clients value Siobhan’s pragmatic and commercial approach. She provides clear, solutions-focused advice on matters such as complex grievances, whistleblowing, breach of contract and post-termination restrictions. Siobhan also advises on industrial relations issues, including trade union recognition, and supports clients through large internal investigations, including those concerning bullying and harassment and freedom of speech.

In 2021, Siobhan was appointed as a Fee-Paid Employment Tribunal Judge in the Midlands West region, a position she continues to hold alongside her role as Partner at Doyle Clayton.

Before joining Doyle Clayton, Siobhan was a Partner at a large national firm and spent two years as in-house Legal Counsel for an arm’s-length public body, where she led a team providing employment, litigation and regulatory advice. This experience gives her valuable insight into the challenges faced by in-house legal and HR teams.
