Maya is a solicitor who advises both organisations and individuals across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

Maya regularly represents employers and employees in the Employment Tribunal and High Court Proceedings with experience in restrictive covenant disputes, TUPE claims, unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination, redundancy payment claims and group protective awards.

Her non contentious experience comprises advising corporate clients on their workplace policies, handbooks, employment contracts, negotiate settlement agreements and dealing with data subject access requests.

Prior to joining Doyle Clayton, Maya trained at a US law firm in the city, working on multi-jurisdictional employment matters with UK and international clients across a number of sectors including financial services, technology, fashion, retail, hospitality, leisure and property.

Maya has a strong educational background that includes an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Bristol and an LLB from the University of Leeds. Maya is also a published author in the legal field.
