New COO and CTO to increase capability at Doyle Clayton

Abby Winkworth, formerly of JMW Solicitors and David Jackson, formerly of Stepien Lake, have joined Doyle Clayton this month as part of the firm’s plan to grow and develop the firm.

Abby joins as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and was previously a partner in the central management team at JMW in London. She has over 20 years of professional services management experience in both accountancy and law, previously working with IBB Law and Deloitte, and has also worked in operational and business development roles in printing and publishing. Her specialisms include all aspects of the commercial leadership of law firms, including strategy and business planning, pricing, marketing and business development, people management and operations. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Abby commented, “I am thrilled to join Doyle Clayton and look forward to the challenge of supporting the business as it takes the next steps as an organisation. It’s an ambitious firm supported by highly knowledgeable and passionate employees, and I am excited to join them as we look to progress the business further.”

David Jackson joins as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a role he previously held at Stepien Lake, where he supported the board for 22 years. He is an associate digital endpoint assessor for the Chartered Institute for IT, and has particular expertise in tech strategy and innovation, project management, workflows and work processes.

David Commented, “Joining Doyle Clayton as they increase their capabilities to grow the firm, and with extraordinary lawyers and strong services, is very exciting, not least because of how friendly and open to new ideas my new colleagues are.”

Tina Wisener, who recently replaced Peter Doyle as CEO, as he became the firm’s first Chairman, commented, “Building upon the long and successful history of Doyle Clayton, I am so pleased to be able to work with professionals such as Abby and David, to achieve our objective of nurturing high performance teams and continuing to grow this wonderful organisation. They both bring with them a wealth of experience and will help achieve our ambitions for the firm”.
