Thomas is an experienced corporate lawyer who advises clients on matters including business sales and purchases, shareholder agreements and articles of association, reorganisations, preparation for sale, and employee incentives.

Thomas advises numerous small and medium sized businesses with all of their corporate law requirements, including business purchases and sales, business divisions, and share issues and transfers. He supports organisations in all sectors and industries, but has a focus on IT clients, including Microsoft resellers, cloud service providers, and IT managed service businesses, as well as SaaS providers.

Since qualifying in 2011, advising on employee incentives has been one of his strengths, including: enterprise management incentives, long term incentive plans (LTIPs), growth shares, and unapproved options. He joined Doyle Clayton in 2023 having spent 10 years at a large regional firm, three of which as partner.
