Beth is a solicitor who advises both organisations and individuals on all areas of UK employment law.

She assists organisations with potentially complex disciplinary issues and grievances, redundancies processes and settlement agreements, performance issues, and how to address these in the correct manner, sickness absences, and other senior employee exits. She has experience both advising in relation to these processes as well as helping organisations to put the correct documents in place to affect any changes or decisions made.

Additionally, Beth has experience of drafting and reviewing various employment documentation such as employment contracts, director’s service agreements, consultancy agreements and staff handbooks.

In relation to both employers and employees, she has dealt with employment tribunal litigation, including acting for both individuals and organisations in claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, and discrimination.

Beth’s work also encompasses advising individuals on the terms of settlement agreements and whether the package being offered on behalf of their employer is fair, given the situation. She is also experienced in reviewing employment contracts and restrictive covenants for any particularly onerous or unusual clauses so that these can be identified prior to the contract being signed.
