

James has more than 13 years’ experience in employment law and deals with a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious matters for both employers and employees, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, confidentiality clauses and worker status.
He is experienced conducting complex and high value discrimination cases; conducting appeals in the Court of Appeal; conducting injunction proceedings in the High Court and overseas and advising on issues arising out of the appointment and dismissal of senior managers at various FTSE and NASDAQ listed companies. He has also advised on cases with media interest.
James appreciates that he works in a service industry and that his clients often need good advice quickly in order to be able to make the best commercial decisions.
He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has published articles on various employment related subjects in The Employment Lawyer, the NLJ, The Construction Specialist's Newsletter and various employment law websites.
