The UK's largest employment law firm with offices in London (City and Canary Wharf) and the Thames Valley (Reading)
Doyle Clayton is the largest specialist employment law firm in the UK. Our dedicated employment lawyers operate from offices in London (London City and Canary Wharf) and the Thames Valley (Reading) providing advice and support to businesses and individuals across the country.
Founded in 1997, we specialise exclusively in all aspects of employment law and work principally advising senior executives and corporate clients, including many PLCs and household names. Clients appreciate our competitive rates when compared to other leading firms and our down to earth and practical advice.
We advise on the full range of employment issues from non-contentious matters to Tribunal and High Court disputes. Advice is also routinely given on ad hoc employment law questions and business immigration matters, as well as providing corporate support in relation to more complex employment law issues, such as TUPE.
Our policy is to recruit specialist employment lawyers from other leading law firms and to ensure the team has skills in all specialist areas. Many of the firm’s senior lawyers, for example, have extensive experience in advocacy and the firm provides its own Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal advocacy in the majority of situations. This enables our lawyers to follow the matter through to the end result, and reduces the cost to our clients of transferring matters to outside Counsel.
Several of our lawyers also have experience of working in-house and therefore the ability to provide commercially sound advice with this perspective in mind.
Doyle Clayton is highly rated in both the Chambers and Legal 500 directories of leading UK law firms. We can provide advice across the UK, including Scotland, and have strong alliances throughout Europe. Whilst usually acting alone, we also have experience of working alongside other law firms on particular matters where required by our clients.
"This growing specialist employment practice is well regarded both for its work advising employers and for representing senior executives. The firm has particular expertise in advising on injunctions and team moves. One interviewee says that the team gives "practical, sturdy advice that you can really use."
